Two Day Workshops run Saturday and Sunday 10am - 4pm
Multi-disciplined fibre artist Anita Peters is offering to share her techniques of making baskets using a variety of natural and found materials located at her unique outdoor garden studio in the beautiful Golden Bay.
The workshop commences with the fundamentals of basic basket construction before exploring the exciting challenges of incorporating ‘found and foraged' materials gathered from the homestead's woodland garden to create baskets of every shape and form. Cane and willow are available to make a traditional basket if preferred, materials cost extra according to weight. There is an option to bring along your own wild materials to trial at the workshop, suitable materials information will be sent on enrolment.
